Applecore Pages on Microsoft Access

Displaying a picture and text on a Command Button

In Access, Command Buttons and Toggle Buttons can display either a caption or a picture, but not both. If you wish to have both displayed, then you will need to create a bitmap file that has both the required text and also the picture all in one graphic file. If you wish for this button to respond to a Hot Key (i.e. Alt and a key press), then you can set the Command Button to have a suitable picture (probably with the Hot Key underlined to provide continuity with the rest of Windows), and set the Caption of the Command Button as normal, with the Hot Key indicated by the ampersand symbol ('&').
