Using the '&' symbol in Access
When you try to create a label that includes '&' in it, for example 'Smith & Wesson', Access will display it as 'Smith _Wesson'. This is due to Access treating '&' as an indicator of a hot-key that is activated by pressing Alt and the letter after the '&'. The way to get Access to display the symbol is to double up, for example 'Smith && Wesson' will display correctly.
